All About Grace

Author. Reader. Globetrotter. Cat lover. Librarian.

I was born, raised, and now settled in Utah. I live with my cutie-pie cats in a little house at the bottom of a little mountain, where the snow piles high in the winter.

I graduated with a BA in English from Utah State University, and then went on to study Library and Information Science from Emporia State University. When I’m not writing, I work as a librarian. It’s the second-best job in the world. I get paid to buy books, plan awesome community events, and advise readers on what books to try next. Creating stories is, of course, the best job in the world.

I love to travel. The most memorable vacations include a two-week road trip through New Zealand (where I almost went bungee jumping off a cliff, but luckily remembered my fear of heights before I paid for the terrifying experience); hiking Hadrian’s Wall in England (it rained EVERY SINGLE DAY, but was filled with the most gorgeous views and the quaintest little Bed and Breakfasts); Forks, Washington with my sister in 2008 (two locals gave us a personal tour of the town and showed us the real house the Cullen’s home was based on!); and a visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida (HP fan forever), followed by a Cruise to the Bahamas (it was over Halloween and my family dressed up as characters from Peter Pan).
